Wow Summer's over!
by Natalie Barron on 9/2/2008 5:44:08 PM

"Fall Day"
Just to let you know.  I am moving to a bigger Studio,  so I have decided not to enter the Fall Market street Art Fair.  I will be available thru this Website as always.

In celebration of Fall, my favorite time of year, I have posted "Fall Day".

Spring is here
by Natalie Barron on 3/18/2008 10:08:38 PM

I've been thinking about all those cabin fever friends,
and so my quote comes from de Maistre the "Room Traveler"

"I was spurred on by an uncertain longing to be transported from a boring daily life, to a marvellous world."

Art in The Park
by Natalie Barron on 9/27/2007 5:44:49 PM

My quote this week comes from Wendy Beckett of BBC Radio,
"...again and again I've taken quick glances and then for some reason I've got to sit before a picture, waiting, and it's opened up like one of those Japenese flowers that you put into water and something I thought wasn't worth more than a casual, respectful glance, begins to open up depth after depth of meaning."

We're just days away from Market street Fall Art fair on Oct, 6th!

The Market Street Fall Art Festival is here again!
by Natalie Barron on 9/17/2007 7:15:29 PM

Mark your calendars for Oct. 6. The Fall Festival is here again.

My quote this week comes from John Ruskin (1819-1900)
"The purest and most thoughtful minds are those which love colour the most."

Back from Vacation
by Nat Barron on 6/1/2007 11:08:43 AM

Well back to work it is. There's nothing like the smell of oil paint in the air!

This weeks' quote comes Willa Cather;

"What was any Art but a mold to imprison for a moment ,the shining elusive element which is life itself- life, hurrying past us and running away, too strong to stop, too sweet to lose."

Cinco De Mayo
by Natalie Barron on 5/5/2007 2:43:10 PM

Happy Cinco!! Hope all is well out there.

And because of the Holiday I'll take my quote from a famous Mexican artist       - Frida Kahlo

"I paint my own reality.  The only thing I know is that I paint because I need to, and I paint whatever passes through my mind without any other consideration."

"Waterway Arts Festival" a big success!
by Natalie Barron on 4/23/2007 3:25:41 PM

What a great experience the whole weekend was.  Starting with VIP night.  A top notch evening, that was a lot of fun too!  Saturday was freezing but still fun. And Sunday was a beautiful day.  Thanks everyone for coming out.

Quote for the week is from Pablo Picasso,

"People don't realize what they have when they own a picture by me.  Each picture is a phial with my blood. That is what has gone into it."
